Border Security
Securing the border and safeguarding our community means restoring order, fairness, and humanity to a broken system. Larry Rubin believes the United States must have a legal, orderly immigration process that works, both for those who wish to come here and for the communities that receive them. America is a nation built by immigrants, and our economy depends on foreign labor in key sectors. The problem is not immigration itself, but a system so dysfunctional that it discourages legal entry while rewarding chaos. Larry supports policies that encourage undocumented immigrants to return to their home countries and reenter the United States through proper legal channels, restoring respect for the rule of law while keeping families and communities safe.
At the same time, Larry understands that border security and legal immigration must advance together. He supports fully funding ICE and Border Patrol, shutting down trafficking and cartel-controlled routes, and modernizing our immigration system so legal applications are processed efficiently, fairly, and quickly. Larry also believes the United States should actively attract skilled, values-aligned immigrants from countries like Norway, Sweden, and Denmark, as President Trump has stated, to strengthen our workforce and economy. The goal is a system that is firm but fair, secure but welcoming, and designed to serve both America's national interest and the people who want to contribute to it the right way, while maintaining our Western values and way of life.
